What is a music producer?
A music producer is someone who creates, shapes, and finishes songs — from building a beat or chord progression to arranging, mixing, and preparing it for release. Whether you're working in hip-hop, EDM, pop, or something experimental, producers today are expected to handle it all.
At Immersed Music Production Program, we train you to become a self-sufficient music producer — one who can turn ideas into full, release-ready tracks using nothing but a laptop, a DAW, and good guidance.
I’ve never made a song before. Can I really learn how to produce full tracks?
Yes — that’s exactly what this part of our course is designed for. We specialize in music production for beginners who want to stop watching random tutorials and actually start finishing songs.
In just 4 weeks, you'll learn how to make a song from scratch — starting from a blank Ableton Live session and ending with a completed, mixed track. Many of our students finish at least two songs, and some are able to finish one song per week, even in their first month of learning.
What DAW do you teach with?
We teach using Ableton Live, one of the most powerful and user-friendly DAWs for modern music production. Thanks to our hands-on, no-fluff teaching method, most students become comfortable using Ableton within 2 to 4 days.
Rather than teaching the software first and creativity later, we help you learn the essentials as you go — applying each tool immediately by working on your own music.
What genres is this course suitable for?
Our techniques can be applied to any genre, but the program is especially helpful for those producing:
-
EDM (house, melodic, trap, future bass, etc.)
-
Hip-hop (trap, boom bap, lofi, etc.)
-
Pop, R&B, and fusion styles
The course is led by Grammy-nominated producers Geett (EDM/fusion) and Ari (Hip-Hop/EDM), so you’ll be learning directly from artists who’ve done this at the highest level.
What exactly will I learn in this module?
You’ll go through the full track creation process, including:
✅ Writing a hook or central idea
✅ Drum programming and rhythm building
✅ Melodies, chords, and basslines
✅ Layering instruments and sounds
✅ Arranging the song so it evolves
✅ Applying transitions and automation
✅ Simplified mixing using our AI-generated mixing chain
✅ Final polish and bounce
This is not about collecting plugins or obsessing over details — it’s about learning how to finish real music quickly and confidently.
How long does it take to learn how to make a full song?
With our method, most students can finish a song within the first week. That’s because we cut through the clutter and focus only on what moves the needle. Instead of getting stuck on small details, we help you build momentum by actually producing music from Day 1.
What are common mistakes new producers make?
Many beginners fall into the same traps: staying stuck in 8-bar loops, chasing the latest plugins, or watching endless tutorials without applying anything. We fix that by giving you structure, templates, and mentorship so you can keep moving forward with every session.
Do I need music theory to produce full tracks?
Not at all. While we cover basic concepts like chord progressions and scales, you don’t need to know theory to start making music. We teach you to produce from feel first, and layer in theory when it’s helpful — not before.
Will I get templates or project files to help me?
Yes. You'll get starter templates, drum kits, synth presets, and cheat sheets to keep you focused. These are real tools we use ourselves — and they’ll save you hours of setup time.
How does the AI-generated mixing chain work in this part of the course?
We provide an AI-optimized mix chain that can be dropped directly into your Ableton session. It’s designed to work across genres and gives you a clean, balanced mix right out of the gate — handling 70% of your mix automatically so you can focus on creativity. You’ll also learn how to adjust it for your own style.
Can I really finish my first track in Week 1?
Yes — and many students do. Our approach helps you skip months of confusion and get right into the flow. Even students who’ve never opened a DAW before have built complete, structured songs within their first week.
What’s the difference between a beat and a full song?
A beat is often a loop or instrumental idea. A full song includes structure — intro, verses, choruses, transitions, and dynamics. We teach you how to go from idea to arrangement so your music doesn’t just sound good — it feels complete.
What kind of feedback do I get on my songs?
You’ll attend 2–3 live sessions per week where mentors will access your DAW via Zoom screen share and ListenTo (a high-end lossless audio plugin) to work inside your track and guide you directly. You’ll get real-time notes, adjustments, and mix tips — not just generic feedback.
What happens after I finish a track?
Once your song is finished, we move into mixing, mastering, and releasing. You'll learn how to upload to Spotify, add ISRC codes, and get your music out into the world — all covered in the later parts of our course.
How is this course better than YouTube tutorials?
YouTube is great for isolated tips — but not for structured learning. Our course is designed to get you results in weeks, not years. You’ll get a clear path, personal support, tools that actually help, and mentors who guide you at every step. No fluff. No guesswork. Just music.
By the end of this module, you won’t just know how to make a song — you’ll have actually made several.
And that’s just the beginning.
